Covidien Telfa™ island dressings are convenient all-in-one dressings available in a variety of sizes. The soft, non-woven backing conforms around wounds and seals on all four sides.
Features & Benefits:
- Bonded on both sides with perforated non-adherent film that can be cut to fit any shape without separating
- Ease of use makes it an ideal take home dressing
- Polyester wound contact film polymer can be steam sterilized
- Film has 382 holes per square inch with a diameter of 0.020 to 0.030 inch, tested to provide the perfect balance of non-adherence and exudate migration
- Absorbent core is made out of 100% USP grade absorbent cotton which is highly absorbent to help minimize skin maceration
- Ideal moisture vapor transmission rate helps control the fluid loss and provides a moist wound healing environment
